Calculation Kernels

The main focus of product management systems is to store products knowledge centrally in order to provide this information via dedicated mechanisms to the complete software landscape. e.stradis has many years of experience in developing and managing product databases for all kinds of financial products. Different approaches are applied for our solutions - from integration of a product management system as middleware (e.g. msg.PM) up to proprietary development of database-driven solutions.

Application and Documentation

The requirements concerning the documentation of consultancy and application processes have increased significantly due to the EU Directive on Insurance Mediation and the VVG reform (Insurance Sales Act). 

Because the client has right of withdrawal from the contract until he/she receives the complete VVG information, the handover of incomplete or incorrect application documention to the client leads to permanently pending transactions. This results in major risks which may become effective not until many years after the sale of the insurance policy. 

e.stradis has substantial experience in designing and implementing solutions for secure application and documentation processes (e.g. on basis of BiPRO standards), product management systems, and easy-to-use user interfaces. One of our main goals is to adapt and integrate consulting technologies on and into business processes.

Process Integration / BiPRO

In the BiPRO e.V. (i.e. "Brancheninitiative Prozessoptimierung") insurance providers, intermediaries, comparators, software vendors and consulting companies work together to define standards that provide efficient organisation of cross-company processes on basis of modern web-service technologies. This not only takes effect on tariff calculations, offerings and applications but also on subsequent processes like alert services, provision reports, digital signature etc.

e.stradis actively contributes towards designing these industry standards within BiPRO. Furthermore, we have a substantial experience in using the BiPRO standards to connect web-services to the resellers' systems. Among others, we supported our clients in connecting their applications to web-services from Allianz, Alte Leipziger, Axa, HDI-Gerling, and Nürnberger.



Risk Assessment / BiPRO

Many insurance providers are trying to differentiate from their competitors already at the tariff calculation by increasingly sophisticated risk assessments. Those assessments not only include the classical questions concerning the clients' health but also questions on profession or risk-relevant hobbies. 

Insurance providers are increasingly often integrating risk assessment software into their own consulting technology or in applications of intermediaries. 

e.stradis spearheaded the development of the BiPRO standards for the dynamic exchange of risk analysis. Based on many years of experience with BiPRO norms and with designing and implementing generic risk assessment software, e.stradis is the ideal partner to take advanteage of the opportunities lying ahead.
