NEW – Deviated rating assessments

The decision scope an analyst has concerning deviating rating assessments can be defined for each rating method within rms. The scope can be defined separately for rating upgrades and/or downgrades.

The following algorithms will be available for upgrading and downgrading rating grades via deviating rating assessments:

  • the analyst may enter an arbitrary deviating assessment
  • the analyst may enter an arbitrary deviating assessment. If the deviation exceeds a configured limit the analyst receives an automatic notification which is additionally documented by the system.
  • the analyst may enter an arbitrary assessment only within a defined range.

Example: for a certain rating method a deviating downgrade may be allowed without notification, an improvement however is restricted by rule to a maximum of one rating grade.
